Actually, the 76 and 2A make a classic combo. (There is a CLA-3A product but I use 2A more.) It's cool - better than most 2A emulations because you get two emulations: Bluey and Blackie.ĬLA-76 is really good, too. You mention CLA-3A as an emulation of an LA2A? You mean CLA-2A. They have another more simple channel strip - Magma Tube Channel - it's really good, but it does have a little bit of PDC latency. Scheps Omni Channel is IMHO the best channel strip on the market. Try leaving the noisy analog emulation ON and put a gate after it. There are more complex delays out there but that one is fast to get a good sound. (KMT and J37 have a small amount of PDC latency.)
